Washington Marriott Wardman Park
Join us for the 5th Annual (ISC)² CyberSecureGov - a three-day training event focused on cybersecurity, held in Washington D.C.
If you work for the
U.S. government, cybersecurity is now your job. More and more,
government employers are identifying good cyber hygiene practices as a
requirement in job descriptions, performance reviews and employee
training programs. For those who don’t hold a cybersecurity job title,
your job is at risk if cybersecurity principles are not upheld and
exercised on a daily basis. For those who hold a cybersecurity job
title, you understand the importance of creating a workplace and culture
characterized by a security mindset. With
evidence that the majority of breaches are caused by human error,
people are undoubtedly your agency’s greatest cybersecurity asset and
requires a shift in focus from grooming the cyber elite to strengthening
the broader community through effective cybersecurity education. This
year’s CyberSecureGov training event will address the human element of
cybersecurity throughout the workplace. Experts from inside and outside
the beltway --and across sectors—with a broad range of cybersecurity
expertise will provide insight into how cybersecurity requirements are
reshaping the workforce and the role that education is playing in job performance and career advancement at all levels – in all departments.
